We Make the Products Moroccans Use in the Hammam

In Morocco, the hammam is not a spa treatment. It is a weekly habit, done with the same few products for centuries: black soap, a kessa glove, ghassoul clay, and a little oil at the end. We grew up with these products. Today we make them in Agadir for spas, shops and brands across Europe, the Gulf, North America and beyond.

Our story

Moroccan Hammam Products started in Agadir to give international buyers one reliable source for the full hammam ritual. Early export clients needed black soap that looked, smelled and performed the same from batch to batch. We built our process around that consistency: fixed recipes, cured soap, batch numbers and retained samples for every production run.

Most conversations start on WhatsApp or email with our sales team in Agadir, who follow your quote, samples and shipment through to delivery.

Where our products come from

  • Black soap: made in our Agadir workshop from olive oil, olive paste and potash, then cured for several weeks before packing.
  • Ghassoul clay: sourced from licensed mines in the Middle Atlas, washed, sun-dried and sieved.
  • Kessa gloves: woven by partner workshops in Morocco, with firm and soft grades for spas and retail.
  • Argan and prickly pear oils: cold-pressed in the Souss region, sourced from women's cooperatives and licensed presses.
  • Rose water: distilled from Rosa damascena grown in the Dades valley around Kalaat M'Gouna.

How we control quality

Every batch gets a batch number you can trace back to its production date and raw material. Before shipping we check:

  1. Texture, color and smell against a reference sample kept from the approved batch.

  2. pH for black soap and moisture for clay.

  3. Lab analysis (COA) for oils: acidity, peroxide value, fatty acid profile.

  4. Packaging: seals, labels and weight.

We keep a retained sample of every batch for 12 months, so if a client reports a problem we can test the same batch.
